The never ending drums
Four beats at a time
Every second,
Every minute,
 Every day of my existence

The never ending drums
The drumbeat in my head
It’s driving me crazy
It’s driving me mad
It’s calling for something
It’s calling for what?

The never ending drums
Have silenced
The beat of two hearts
Now it has stopped
And so did I
And both my hearts
